What To Bring – Drug and Alcohol Program
Suggested Personal Items to Bring
» A picture ID is required to be admitted. Please bring one of the following:
-government issued driver's license or ID card,
-a passport,
-military ID,
-school ID, or
-credit card with photo.
» All Insurance and Prescription Plan Cards
» A 30-day supply of all your medications in their original containers
» Credit card, checkbook or cash for co-pays and optional services
» Calling card or lots of change for pay phones
» Wristwatch
» Alarm clock
» Comfortable walking/hiking shoes
» Exercise clothes
» One week’s worth of casual, comfortable clothing that covers the body. (No
short shorts, mini's or tank tops.)
» Warm jacket and/or sweats
» Tote bag or backpack
» Umbrella and rain gear (seasonal)
» Toothbrush, toothpaste, hair dryer and toiletries (alcohol and fragrance-free
products only)
» Favorite pillow, blanket, comforter (bedding and towels are provided)
» Pens, pencils, note paper, envelopes, stamps, address book
We furnish towels, linens and a pillow with a plastic liner as well as bath
soap, tissue, iron and ironing board.
A washer, dryer and soap are provided for you to wash your clothes.
An ATM is available in the hospital lobby. There is a gift shop and pharmacy on
the campus.

» Cell phones (including PDAs) or pagers
» Pagers
» Computer or DVD players
» Cameras
» Tobacco Products*
» Fragranced products of any kind (perfumes, colognes, lotions, hair products,
candles, incense)
» Products containing alcohol, including mouthwash
» Caffeinated beverages
» Weapons of any kind
» Items of value, including jewelry
» Excessive amounts of cash
» Clothing that has drug or alcohol advertising, is immodest or provocative
» Pornographic material
Automobiles: We recommend that you make arrangements for
someone to drive you to our facility. There is not adequate parking to leave
your vehicle for a residential stay. If you must drive yourself, please arrange
for someone to remove your vehicle from the premises as soon as possible.
*St. Helena Hospital is a tobacco-free campus. Nicotine patches and lozenges are
provided for you as needed.
