Admissions

Our goal is to make sure our program can help you on your path to recovery. That’s why we spend time getting to know you. Only after we go through this process can we determine if our program is the right fit for you.

Step by Step

St. Helena Recovery Center admits adults of 18 years of age or older who are struggling with an addiction with alcohol, drug or other mood altering substance.

Step One

Talk to an Advisor

If you are interested in learning more about our program, the first step is to call a member of our Client Advisor Team. Our team is very well trained and can help you understand if our program might benefit you in your recovery and help you understand the costs of the program. To reach a member of our Client Advisor Team, call 800.454.HOPE (4673) Monday thru Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time), Saturday and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please not that a family member/loved one may call on your behalf regarding your insurance and financial information.

Step Two

Confidential Screening Interview by Phone

If you are interested in participating in the program and understand your financial responsibility, then we will conduct a 20-30 minute confidential screening interview over the telephone. This must be done directly with you as a potential client who will be participating in the program. Following this telephone interview we will review your information to determine if our program can benefit you and provide the tools you need for recovery.

Step Three

Face-to-Face Personal Assessment Appointment

If we think our program can help you and you are interested in moving forward, a face-to-face appointment will be scheduled so that you can meet with our counselor, who will review your alcohol and drug history and medical information, administer a few tests, including a breathalyzer, and conduct a comprehensive assessment .This interview will determine if you meet the criteria for admission and the appropriate level of care that is recommended. If admitted, you will progress to the appropriate level of care.

Step Four

Understand How Much Your Insurance Plan Will Pay

With the information obtained during the Personal Assessment Appointment, our Insurance Liaison will then contact your insurance carrier to determine if your insurance will cover the cost of care that is recommended. Our counselors will inform you how much your insurance will cover and any of your out-of-pocket costs.

Your Personal Counselor

You will be assigned a primary counselor who will work with you on development of a individualized treatment plan. In addition to your assigned counselor, you will benefit from the skills and experience of our entire team.

Our approach is to empower you to apply your acquired knowledge and skills for living a healthy, well-balanced life. Coupled with a proven treatment program and our staff’s support, you will find the inner strength to recognize, interpret and manage cravings. Successful completion of this program helps you achieve long-term rehabilitation and successful outcomes.
